Pasty White :  They were up early on the main stage with some sunshine and a warm crowd.
Here one finds a slice of the Twin Cities scene with Chad, John, Joe, Jimmy and J. Volts.
Action that included mandolin work with songs from their 14 track album. A white album.
Its hard to beat their experience and flare for a rock tune.

Newpalooza ii ~ ~ ~ The sounds of a summer time outdoor event began on this Friday in Black River Falls, Wisc with the gathering of musicians for a weekend of music and party time camping. There were two stages and a good mix of music for this two day event organized and hosted by Kelly Moore and Eddie Mac which would be playing both nights. Also, a jam session hosted by Area 52 took place with many of the musicians at the end of day one.
Room for Gray : They were up for an early evening set on the smaller stage. They were added to the list of bands about a week before the event and brought their melodic rock blend out to get the small stage heated up on this friday night. James, David and Kris are out in the scene with a 13 song self titled CD.

Crazied Individuals :  On the road from the Denver scene, they brought out their psychedelic style of music to stir up the rock stage with a hard hitting set. Here was Jed, Jimmy and Jake out touring with an eight song CD titled 'Losing our Mind'. A sharp good time band of crazed individuals. Certainly a band to catch when they visit your town or take part in an outdoor event.

Eddie Mac : The two man hard hitting party rock band hit the main stage to close out the live band action on the first day. Chris and Mike gave the late night crowd a solid dose of their energy with a good time set to underscore the spirit of the event. They would play on night two where more would get to find out that they brake for Hotties . . . will someone steal their lighter again . . . and there's more to take in at a Eddie Mac show. There will likely be chances to see them here and there in the months ahead. One will need to watch to see what town, state and event that they will be playing as they tour out.

Sick of Sarah : On the list as Sparkle Motion and have been out playing with the new official name 'Sick of Sarah' before this event. There's a fresh pop rock sound in the air as S.O.S. took to the smaller stage with great vocals spinning the lyrical content within the woven fabric of guitars, bass lines and drum action. Abisha, Katie, Jesse and Brooke brought together two 30 min sets in between the main stage action. A chance to hear some of the songs a second time and a few cover songs along with Jesse doing a solo vocal guitar number. A rather new band from the Twin Cities and there will likely be a few chances to see them in the months ahead as they pace out their appearences and shape their musical identity and forge ahead as a band.
