in Minneapolis, MN. This cd was produced by Rivkit themselves.

4.  Recoil
5.  Coagulate
6.  Sign of the Times

ENERGY, should be the actual name of this cd. Thats exactly what it brings to the table. Cd players are afraid when this cd gets put in becuase of the strength of power displayed by the band on the cd.

My favorite track on the cd is, "Local Martyr" because it combines the best of Tony E.'s high pitched screaming and melodic harmonic singing. The lyrics in the song are very heart-felt and could relate to anybody who has been screwed over and then that person apolgizes and thinks everything will go back to normal.

I have only had the cd for a short period of time but it has become a regular of the cd's I listen to on a daily basis. It has everything a cd should have from a very gifted vocalist, to the back of the stage where the drummer is killing the beats and laying down some amazing doubles.

Overal Rating : A must own for any fan of local metal.

In Conclusion : Go check out and vote for Rivkit in the battle of the bands at the
Rock nightclub ( Maplewood, MN ) on February 9th, 2005 and pick up a copy
of  "A Good Excuse To Die"
