Siren 313 and Dr Watson, make up Apraxia, with the album 'Weapons of Mass Deception' they bring together a Electro swirl of thought provoking Techno Industrial music. One will find a flowing techno beat with industrial edges and electro pulsations as if a magic wand changed a swamp into a glowing electrified dance arena for the techno crowd. Some of the tracks feature performances by Jason Hollis, Lolly Pop, Laura Hillman, MC ILL Wizard and Scott Souter. The songs Cyberchrist, Strangelove and Metrosexual are great examples of the strength of this album. The 12 track CD includes two additional tracks at the end. The energy and impact of their music will likely shake the crowd with good vibes at their live shows where they surely enhance the music with stage effects. Apraxia has one of their songs included in the sound track for the film Shadows on the Wall. The sound track CD is also well worth seeking out by the techno industrial crowd. Alex Valoczki ( aka Siren 313 ) was in charge of the music direction, sound design and score which was completed here in Mpls, Mn while the filming and video production took place in the Detroit metro area. The independent film is the production of Designs of Future Worlds with director Douglas J. Struble. The film is about a phycologist and patient which revolves around the complicated world of drugs and sex. A film well laced with drama and a phycological rollercoaster ride which produces a shock wave with intense and entertaining procession where the music score plays a grand role in the impact of the film. The film is based on Plato's Allegory of the Cave. Some of the cast members are Steve Wilkonski, Melissa Ferguson, Carrie Vanscyoc, Ty Metzger, Jay Burg, Rebecca Milstone and Jessica Jones. Odds are good that fans of the industrial techno world will find the Aprxia CD, the film sound track CD and the DVD of the film to be worthy additions to their collection.
