A Glance at a Quest show
with Cold Colours and R-evolution

Early on a saturday afternoon began this local heavy metal showcase
brought together in part by the Twin Cities local scene makers at Root
of all Evil. The early crowd for this show got to see the work of up
and coming 'R-evolution' as they played the Quest for the first
time. Ben, Carl, Frank, Ryan and Chris unloaded a highly charged
opening set which included "The Last Holocoust" , "The Dark Became the
Day" and a new song called "Saddiction". A hardy active set with guitar
work and vocals that reach out to draw in new fans. Second up on stage
to take the crowd for a ride was 'Cold Colours' with band members
Brian, Paul, Glen, Joe and Jon. The slick keyboard and drummer
activity underscores the up front guitar work and flowing lyrics.With
merchandise available, one can get hold of their recent EP 'Depressing
the Masses' and an older collection called 'Somnium XIII' . For those
that could stay later or arrived later, there was the closing sets of
'Necromis' and 'God Awful' to grind in and stamp the event well done for the metal crowd.
