'Sound and Fury' came to the Cabooze for this 18+ show with late addition 'All The Pretty Horses', 'Minus 3' and the opening band 'A Point of View'. There was a rather good number of the younger crowd gathered at stage for the set of 'Minus 3'. Alot of good spirited energy on stage with Mitch, Mex and Dalton. Mex with back up vocals displays more aggressive explosive energy then most bass players. Those with a sharp ear for musicianship are likely to find much to admire in the music of 'Minus 3'. They have a new two song EP with the songs "Broken Melody" and "Cave In". Many among the crowd mix on hand got their first taste of the music of 'All The Pretty Horses'. Many of the newcomers to A.T.P.H. seemed to be eyes fixxed and ears enriched by the music and performance show on hand .Which included an extra treat with guest bassist Desdemona. The band has been playing alot of shows which recently included a wild one at CBGB's in New York and a U.K. tour. With their CD 'Creature' and the excellent photos by Jacqueline Peterson - many who are not regulars at the glam-gothic-metal shows have found their music and performance appealing or as a refreshing change of pace from their regular music scene outings. Recently, 'Sound and Fury' was voted at City Pages as "Best Band in Mineapolis 2004" which has earned them a May showcase at the MECA conference in Chicago. They have a new CD out called ' The Seven Wands EP ' where one will find the song "Where I Belong" which will give one a good sense of their talent. Always up solid with a good show for the fans. All three of these bands are slated to be seen at First Avenue in Mpls.
