At the Cabooze
Gingerjake, B ! and No Loving Place
There is always a fine mix of shows at the Cabooze with a solid sound system and a great elongated space to hang out and enjoy the music.  This friday night gave space for a few soulful metal edged bands. A rather new band with the name 'Altar of Rock' had to drop out due to a vocal medical condition with Ted the singer guitarist. Local scene night life fans will get a chance to see them play around town in the near future. A somewhat layed back evening where no sleep fest could be found with the music of 'No Loving Place' out of Wisconsin, the hardy good time ' B ! ' and the impact eventful action of 'Gingerjake'. All three bands took to stage well with a fond contrast of voices and guitar lines to weave an impression of their music. Looks like ' B  ! ' guitarist Shaun had some technical difficulties with his new hollow framed guitar - he will likely work it in on future shows. Ran into Mel and Mark of 'Rule 13' who are still in need of a good drummer. Former 'Banehinge' drummer Davehinge was out and about but not yet keen on joining in with a new band. All three bands that played this evening have excellent CD's available at their shows.
