The Fighting Tongs
At the Fineline Music Cafe

After a good all ages show at First Avenue, was able to swing by the
Fineline Music Cafe to catch some of the set by 'The Fighting Tongs'.
Looks like they have been out playing since May 2002, when they played
their first show on a monday
night at the Fineline's new band night. They have come a long ways in a
short time with a six song EP out called 'Horseshoes and Hand Grenades'
along with a series of successful shows and events. This looked to be
another great show for them with a good size crowd out to see them and
the bands 'Brice' and 'The Royal We'. With 'The Fighting Tongs' one
will find a good spirited high energy mix of active stage performing.
How often do you find three singers working the stage with Jordis up
front delivering her core vocal action. Even if you don't know their
songs, there is a lot of good time entertainment with 'The Fighting
Tongs'.
