Epicurean and Skrum at 7th St Entry

This is page one: Epicurean

Epicurean was one of many bands on this sunday show at The Root Of All
Evil special event. Took to the 7th St Entry stage to have a look at
Epicurean and their new band line up. A number of people like to step
into the entry to check out the bands even when there's alot of action
on the main stage. Being a smaller stage, John on drums was tucked away
in the back corner of the stage. The new line up has John Laramy on
vocals, Rob Nesco on lead guitar and Angelia on bass joining John,
Lance and Malmstorm. On stage right it was a bit bright to get a
good photo of Malmstorm on keyboards. On a larger stage he would most
likely set up on stage left. Even with it being somewhat tight quarters
for a six member band, John on vocals was able to work the crowd rather
well and adds additional strength and action to their performance. With
the additional musicians, it does appear that Rob and Angelia are
bringing forth more depth and providing Lance, Malmstorm and John on
drums with more possibilities to enhance the music arena that is
Epicurean.

For those that don't know of Epicurean, they
are a dark metal band with a developing style and stage appeal that
will likely gather more fans. Check out their website and watch for a new CD and future shows.
