Ocularis + Life of Sin at Station 4
|
It was a tuesday night at Station 4 where a number of people may of had
a free ticket for this one. A night with two dollar tap beer in tall
glasses and four bands for scene fans to intake as they wish. Those
that arrived early got to see two newer bands by the name of 'Terminal'
and 'Under Eden'. Later, 'Life of Sin' and 'Ocularis' would close out
this heavy night of music. With 'Life of Sin', Phelony has been up on
vocals for
a few shows now and it sounds like there will be more changes for
future shows. Apparently they will be dropping one guitar player and
the bassist is keen on switching to guitar which will leave a opening
for a bass player. Phelony moved well on stage and they all were having
a good time as they look forward to a break and the new year. The band
'Ocularis' is out with a new drummer since Albert Born left to join
'Banehinge' and they have a new singer - Wayne Cusick. Was able to hang
around long enough to catch some of 'Ocularis' as they are out gaining
exposure and giving out free demo CD's. They came across fairly well
and along with the other bands will likely be out and about the scene
in the coming months.
