Cinder Sky up for Filthy Divine
and Universal Intelligence

The Red Sea "Green Room" was host to a thursday night of music with three women singers that rock the local scene. Cinder Sky joined Filthy Divine and Universal Intelligence for an evening of  original music that went well for everyone. Esound Management with Eric and Deb provides promotions and sound for the Green Room which came across as loud and comfortable for the style of music and size of the room. The Red Sea is on the west bank in Mpls. and they do provide a Citypage ad and website.

   Red Sea

Airika, Viva and Jaime
Universal Intelligence opened with their steady line up of songs. One can't help but notice Ed Levine on keyboards and Airika doing vocals. Perhaps you've heard the songs 'Color Queen' or 'The Bad Bots'. A cheerful uplifting performance by Airika is sure to be seen. Cinder Sky was up next with Jaime on vocals and Joe, Patrick, Mike and Monte. Formerly known as Catalyst-A where Jaime wrote and performed some songs you may have heard which include 'Acetone' and 'Driver'. Jaime on vocals has a voice that rings out with a solid fun approach along with Joe up front on guitar gives forth a fond impression of Cinder Sky. This showcase of original bands was closed out with a great performance by Filthy Divine which is Viva on vocals along with Nick, Nate and Scott. Often the bass line will draw the crowd into the song such as in the tune 'America'. The distinct voice of Viva along with her crisp stylish manner with lyrics is a delightful potion for the inner ear. Two fine examples can be found in the songs 'The Maze' and 'Flying Away'.  Seek out all three bands.

Note: All three bands worked well together which made for a fine sequence that showcased the talents of three bands with women driving the vocals forthright to the crowd with a good time for all.
