Bleeding the Sick with Staija and Banehinge
at The Rock Night Club
|
|
A Saturday night on a summer evening in the suburbs of the twin cities.
There were three rather hot local original bands looking to perform their
material for the crowd. The show would open with Staija working a modest size
crowd . Followed by Bleeding the Sick and Banehinge. All around it was a
fairly good show with Staija breaking in the night with their stage stance
and active performance. The crowd was made up of a number of band members,
local mix and supporters that follow the bands around from show to show. Three bands that go together rather well.
Bleeding the Sick were primed and up
to the task of displaying their music and performance. Jeff on vocals pushed
the evening forward with a solid dig our music rush of energy for the crowd.
Mike on drums has his kit set up in such away that it is rather easy to see
his action. There is a lot of good action on stage with Brent on guitar
and Eden on bass. A heavy, fun and playful energy mix by the four with crowd action songs
"Riot", "Learning to Kill" and "Speed Trap" as good examples of their music.
