  Downside of Truth - Serotone
At the Rock Night Club

At the Rock Nightclub on a Friday night.  This was a local industry showcase with 'Savage Blue', 'Serotone' and 'Downside of Truth'. A good size crowd gathered for the show with a mix of regulars, 'Serotone' fans and a number of metal fans out to see 'Downside of Truth'. Arrived in time to see 'Serotone' with their well displayed banners and well polished modern rock set of material. Here you will find the eye-catching and ear-fetching guitar action of David Kittleson along with the strength of vocalist Jeff Scott. 'Serotone' did a west coast tour in late 2003 and they have a ten song CD out called 'My Secret Hiding Place'. Containing crisp accoustic and drum action along with slick guitar and vocal transitions with 'Shattered', 'Changed' and 'Goodbye My Friend' as good examples of their work. 'Downside of Truth' hit the stage with their heavy metal sound to rally on the metal crowd. A rock and rumble set with the work the crowd vocals of Chris South and the playful wildside action of Chad, Bob and Matt. They have recently released a four song EP called 'Bleeding 101' with the songs - Save Yourself - Determination - Burn With Me - and - Undefeated. They will be doing a video shoot at the Main Event on April 10th for an upcoming DVD. There will be a good mix of bands playing the Twin Cities this spring and summer. Get up and out to the shows - enjoy the music scene.
