Staija

- - - - - -

Alton with custom bass

Staija closed out the night with a grand mix of material which is always well presented with a hardy punch of musical expression to grind out a good time with the crowd.  Out to strike up a wider fan base across the scene with their song 'Hemorrhage' leading their drive for the bigger and better horizon which they have had a taste of over the last year. Musicianship strung together well with guitar and bass mix that strives to surpass their counterparts along with the bold vocal stance of Alex. In their earlier days they were more so a dark atmospheric performance and now they are a five man all out force on stage. Alton worked his custom made bass and Tony displays his slight of hand guitar work as they all work the stage well. Dane back on drums brings together their sound with his high spirited percussion work. They have a CD available and some songs online. Looks like they will be taking part in the MN Local Music Festival in Sandstone, MN on June 17-19 along with a number of other Minnesota bands.

Long Term Disability

- - - - - -

Dave, Dodd and Jason

L.T.D. or Long Term Disability brought out a special brand of heavy non stop rock metal mayhem which is all about having a good time. Strike the gong for more than a good time as they deliver the goods well dished out and topped with their active personal style and experience. They have a ten song CD available that well represents the sound they've brought together with the songs 'Shack', 'Inside of Nothing' and 'Speed Qween' as good examples. With dual guitar action and the tag team vocals of Dodd and Dave Rogers one will find a hardy mix of some speed metal and a number of techniques that string, strike and stradle their soundscape with no disability to be seen. Trevor on drums has to work hard to keep up with the fierce foursome up front. With Don Tinsley on lead guitar and on bass Jason Graves looked a bit head sphere like Dodd without the shades. Perhaps long term determination is the stride that drives them from song to song and show to show.
