It was a Saturday night at the Rock Nightclub with the first show for new guitarist Chris Winter out with the band 'Downside of Truth'. Sometimes bands will go through line-up changes. For the most part a band is a mixture of musicians and personalities forging ahead with ideas, energy and drive to do and become whatever the chemistry mix of all envolved can produce along with the opportunities that may arise. This evening 'Downside of Truth' hit the stage with a new chemistry charged up to forge ahead. Chris Winter brings his guitar work to the metal band with a flare that well enhanced their set of material. Their heavy edged metal comes across well and entertaining for the crowd which particularly enjoyed the song 'Determination'. They have a four song EP out and are working on a full length album and DVD material. Scene fans are likely to enjoy taking in one of their shows as they play out around the Twin Cities scene.
