This Friday at Club Underground in NE Mpls brought together the band
Dumpster Juice with Six Six Crush and Tonnage for an evening of hard
rock with punk metal twist and turns. The band Tonnage has a name that
fits their hard hitting music and does not refer to the
total weight of the band or a drive to have a fan base that are all
well endowed on the tonnage scale. The three member band ( Bartell,
Dave and Jeff ) deliver the heavy end of the music spectrum with some
elements of classic metal and a splatter of punk. They have a 2006 EP
out called 'The Panzram Session' with Round 13 Records. The four member
band ( Seth, Bob, Johnny and Jason ) named Six Six
Crush are out to rock the crowd with an aggressive punk edged
metal approach. One can gather much about the band from the songs
'Graveyard' and 'Evil Goblins'. When you need something more raw and
energetic then a dose of fluff music can provide, Six Six Crush will
give your musical taste buds a dark edged twist of the senses. A good
beer goes well with these bands, I would stay away from the fruity
drinks with the little paper umbrella, even more so with the band
Dumpster Juice. The taste buds may growl with anticipation for Dumpster
Juice the band and perhaps the beverage as well. Only those in the
underground beverage scene would pursue the juices of dumpsters. But,
there may be a grand blend of wines in the dumpsters of some of the
finner restaurants and a good mix of beers at some of the taverns which
would all be well enhanced with spices and herbs of the night time
scene. Dumpster Juice the band is Rowland, Kevin, Andrew and Todd.
Dumpster Juice has been around the block a few times with their hard
hitting blend of punk, metal and thrash to get the crowds juices
flowing and rocking. A musical riot for the good time senses. You don't
have to go dumpster diving before a show to enjoy their music. If your
juices are flowing, you can join in on the belly slapping song or just
sit back and dig the cow bell song. Another good time show at Club
