Most every venue can be a hot spot for the twin
cities music scene. Took an out and about drop in and take in a slice
of
techno pop at Club Underground which is beneath the Spring Street bar
in NE Mpls. With Lolly Pop and U.C.K.F, there's a daydream believer
slice of pop, all sunny side up with the techno punk edge to stir up
the beat side of your musical menu. Lolly Pop always brings forth a
great looking stage performance while her voice will trance focus your
attention to her music and personality. APOX members Kat, V and Kamela
joined in on a song bringing an extra special guest segment to the
evening. Lolly Pop is hard at work on her up coming album 'Glamorous
Life' which will likely be a hot item for 2006. The uber cool world of
U.C.K.F. was up hardy for the good time close for this evenings
underground show. There's a new wave craze factor with their album "3"
as well as their version of 'Daydream Believer'. Definitely a fun band
to see live with Jesse, Adam and the uber cool crowd. We may find some
member changes or additions for both
bands in 2006. I dragged the Dutchman out for a
taste of the electro punk scene and he quickly became a big fan of the
audio and visual performance of Lolly Pop and her band Telephone. The
Dutchman can be a riot on scene, long on talk and here left a short
comment. "I forgot about the techno pop scene and thought that I may
not like it. Lolly Pop rocks!." - The Dutchman
