A saturday night with a pre-halloween show at Star Central in the NE Mpls area of the Twin Cities. Filthy Divine and Valhalla Drive were up with a not so everyday show as they were in costume for this show. Scotty on drums for Filthy Divine brought out the devil side for his stick action. The outfit that graced Viva's vocal magic was perhaps not all that different from what she may wear around the house while tending to domestic duties. And, one will not likely see Marcus out with his costume unless he has a secret he is only beginning to reveal. A bit of fun in costume for this show as Valhalla Drive also brought out a colorful mix to the stage. Many around the Twin Cities are likely to have seen Filthy Divine play out over the last few years. Yet, Valhalla Drive may be new to many around the Twin Cities scene. They formed around June of 2003 and do have a CD out titled 'Tidal Waves'. Watch for more from both bands as they take to stage without costumes in the months ahead.
