On this friday night at Star Central in the NE
Mpls area of the Twin Cities came together a show in celibration of the
vocal performance of Melissa Ferlaak with the band Aesma Daeva. The
band has enjoyed a great run with the operatic singer Melissa up
front and in command of the stage for their symphonic metal
performances. Melissa will be moving forward to
take on the singer role with the Napalm record artists 'Visions of
Atlantis' in Austria. She will likely be seen out performing with VoA as they
shape their 2006 European tour dates. This evenings last show with
Melissa was being video taped for a DVD release that will be titled
"The Last Rites Concert". Aesma Daeva was on stage for over an hour as
Melissa's operatic talents and stage performance gave friends and fans
of the dark metal scene in the Twin Cities a night of fond memories.
All wish Melissa good luck and a grand musical adventure as she
ventures onward with her talents. The band Cold Colours has had a few
member changes over the years and continues to bring forth their brand
of dark metal to the Twin Cities scene. They played solid with
celibration and fond wishes for the continued success of Aesma Daeva
and Melissa. ArcAngel opened the night as new comers to the scene.
ArcAngel has a gothic industrial metal approach and are hard at work on
producing a solid recording for future release. All three bands have
