A Tuesday night at the Uptown Bar and the silence of a distant night gave
way to the city lights and a rock encounter with Rhimshodt and Filthy Divine.
The third act cancelled which left the stage open to a warm up session. Wayne
with guitar provided some good solid metal action for the crowd which was
followed up by Kirkland, Nick and Andy giving forth a fun rock jam session.
An unexpected extra bonus for the evening. One never knows what sort
of uplifting moments may arise at the local original shows. Always worth
a look. Worth a visit. Enjoy!

Amanda is the voice of Rhimshodt
|
Rhimshodt is Amanda on vocals, Kirkland on guitar, Walter on bass and
Andy
on drums.
Silence is a broken string of yet to be chords of exceptional merit. Kirkland
took to his guitar and the band was ready to perform. Amanda with mic and
grand gesture to the crowd opened with an exclamation "Are you ready for
the real thing?" The reality of their effort is pulling together a fine set
which came across well at the Uptown. A lesson and well presented real thing.
Such as the song "Yes or No" and she did say the word ballad.
Amanda presented her one and only ballad called "Anti-Ballad" which in turn
is rather good if not excellent. Most certainly need to hear that one again.
They do have a CD available and a nice website. See them live. Hear them
live. Be there live.
