Cold Colours and Revelence with Impaler At the Urban Wild Life Club
|
A good mix will often gather in the Urban Wildlife bar to chat and
party away the night or as a good place to start or close out their
nightlife downtown venture. And then there is the music action in the
Rock Room where on this evening one would find the bands known as 'Cold
Colours' and 'Revelence' opening for the 'Impaler' DVD release
show . A fond disco-not show for the - trip the dark fantastic crowd -
up and out for a dose of splatter time entertainment. 'Revelence'
rolled out the metal carpet for the evenings friendly rock the heavy
with a good time roar. Kyle, Ben and Jeremy bring forth their three man
interactive upfront stage action for the crowd. Metal heavy, metal dark
and metal humor may be the general impression of a 'Revelence' show.
There's a warm edge to a 'Cold Colours' show with the metal solution
action that is Jon on keyboards, Brian and Paul guitar-vocals glance
and stance performance, motion notion bass man Joe and the slight of
hand precision of Glen Wilde at the drum kit. 'Impaler' times twenty
years equals alot of good time shocking rock music. Bill Lindsey and
the gang of undead bloodfest humor enraged rockers always bring forth
an upright in your face performance. Here at this show releasing their
'20 Years Undead' DVD for the public in need of a good dose of their
music. 'Impaler' would certainly be in a RockWatch hall of fame for
their twenty years of music. The large Elvis wall painting seemed out
of place at this show and in need of a rock image make over. Perhaps
some Impaler green, some red and black enhancements that could make for
a striking rock, industrial, metal, punk image. One can imagine Elvis
transformed into a modern character of the music scene.
