At the Urban Rock Room on on a Saturday night.
Swung by to have a look see and caught part of the heavy hitting opening band which goes by the name of 'EyeNine'. Another rather new band was up second called 'Ribsaw' which provided a somewhat colorful heavy edged entertaining set. With cardboard ribsaws and a song called "Piggies in the Dirt". It seems like a good approach
to keep this little write up low key and suggest that scene fans have a
look at the rather new bands 'Ribsaw' and 'EyeNine' as they play around the Twin Cities. The band 'Long
Term Disability' may wish to lay low a bit as they finish up their full
length album and plan for future shows. After stirring up the scene a
bit with their first three shows in May they here hit the Urban with
their blend of rawk metal to close out this good time show. Some of the
songs they hit the crowd with were 'Speed Queen', 'Inside
of Nothing' and 'Drop Out' to name a few. Hopefully it will be a short
term pause before scene fans get to see Dodd, Dave, Jason, Don and
Trevor in action again.
