Bleeding The Sick with Epicurean and Seventh Calling at the Urban Wild Life Club
|
|
A 'Bleeding the Sick' saturday night at the Urban in downtown Mpls.
In addition to the drummers for the three bands playing
tonight, there were at lease six other drummers in the house from the bands
'Stigma', 'Headcharge', 'Staija', 'Banehinge', 'A.T.P.H.' and '13th
Step'. A metal night for the crowd .
'Epicurean' opened with on lookers taking their ears for a ride into their dark full
metal show. Epicurean has their CD "V.II R.VI" with
JCM Records available on line and at the shows. Some of their songs can
be heard at IUMA.com . Most would agree that the new line-up for
Epicurean is working well for
their vision of the dark metal experience. They will be on the road in
the near future.
How do you say 'Bleeding the Sick' without drawing blood ?
Perhaps "Shame of Life", "Suffocation" or "Riot" which are three
of their songs. With new member Alfred on bass the band is sounding
good and moving
forward. With Mike on drums and Jeff and Brent up front, they put
together a metal show with plenty of heavy action for the crowd. No one
lost any blood at the show.
'Seventh Calling' closed out the night. Joining Lance, Darren
and Tom was an additional guitar for the band in the hands of Steve
Handel. With Steve they now have a duel guitar metal edge for their
dark side metal set. If you're in need of a swim in an "Ocean of
Dreams" or are looking for a "Dark Angel", which are two of their
songs, you may find what you need in 'Seventh Calling'.
