A saturday night at the Urban brought out Facecage from Iowa along with
Si6ks opening and Downside of Truth closing out the night. A mixed
group of scene fans out on this evening. Those that came out for Si6ks
and many Facecage fans as well as those that came to join Chris South
on his birthday party night. Si6ks began with their brutal night
stalking metal. Al Towners is the only original member and has been
joined with Adam - formerly with Rivkit - along with Kevin, Neal and
Phil. They were up heavy and intense for the hard core crowd. Senses
told me this would not be a pop night of dancing gals and good time
skirts. Hard core night it is with the grinding hard edged punch
of Facecage. Matt, Fred, Erik and Jim did well to 'Instigate' a
hard core performance with 'A call to Arms' to rattle your swords for
the metal scene with no fear of losing your 'Skin' or being 'Taken
Apart' by the shear force of their music which may leave some 'Dying to
Breathe'. Music for the young and old? ! ! Perhaps we will see
them on a larger stage next time they visit the Mpls area as they do
rip it up rather big in Iowa and Kansas. Brutal metal Facecage style.

Chris South was up rather wild on his birthday party night and even more so pleased to be playing a show with Facecage. All three bass players gave an all out heavy edge to an evening well done for this March night of hard core in the Twin Cities.

Downside of Truth - Winter on guitar
Brutality took on another spin with Downside of Truth as Winter was rather active on stage and Chris South rolled with the punches which included a short hardy wrestling match distraction. Chris South was up rather wild on his birthday party night and even more so pleased to be playing a show with Facecage. All three bass players gave an all out heavy edge to an evening well done for this March night of hard core in the Twin Cities.
