CRIMINAL INTENT : By Phelony
Show Coverage
July 10th is not only my B-Day, but it happened to be the night the UW featured Banehinge, R-Evolution, and Revelence. And I got to say turning 28 will be memoriable because of that line up. But, let say this, this is my first article for RockWatch, and like I said before, it was my B-Day.

Another problem with my little article is Phil spoke with me commenting on this show and possible future ones, when I already knocked back several free birthday drinks. I only got to see Revelence for a quick second, but I have been to one of their past shows at  Star Central. Losta energy from these guys! I spoke with several patrons at the UW and it looked like they got the job done of getting the crowd amped up for the other two bands.

Next was R-Evolution, and not only are they great to see on stage, but great guys to play gigs with as well. If you have'nt seen them, then your missing out. If your into to Nu-school or Old-school it does'nt matter with these guys, THEY ARE METAL, PERIOD! Seriously, look up the word in the dictionary and you'll see those five guys next to the word. And they show no sign of fading out anytime soon. One of my favorite songs has to be one of the new ones, Saddiction, but from start to finish every song in their set will impress you.

After R-Evolution played and my drunken stupor continued, Banehinge was next up on stage. These guys are some local power-houses, and put on a killer show everytime. The UW was now jammed with people and as they took the stage, the crowd's response exploded. There even was a little pit action which, to me, signifies a great show. I was alittle bummed that not many people pitted during R-evolution, but as I got into the Pit I saw some of the band slugging it out amongst the crowd.

All in all, the night was awesome, alot of fun to be had by all. Check out all three bands in the future when you get the chance. You won't be disappointed.
